Job description
About the role
This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects or problems and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list of needed maintenance, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining supplies and materials, completing maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
- Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, and tools.
