Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a newly created Manager, Accounting Transformation, opening with a rapidly growing company that is based in Southfield, Michigan.
Requirements of the Manager, Accounting TransformationBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance requiredActive CPA license preferredMaster’s degree in accounting preferred4+ of progressive financial accounting roles, with Big 4 public accounting experienceStrong understanding of accounting processes and internal controlsExperience supporting SOX and related audit requirements

Responsibilities of the Manager, Accounting Transformation Analyze existing accounting and finance processes; identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunitiesImplement enhancements of existing processes through effective redesign and remediation of any identified risksSupport IPO readiness initiatives, including documentation and control design for future-state processes and controlsOwn documentation of policies, procedures, and internal controlsLead finance transformation workstreams through standardization of and optimization of financial processes (close optimization, ERP enhancements, reporting redesign)Support implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting infrastructure (ERP, close tools, reporting platforms)Support system testing and post‑implementation reviews for all finance system optimizationsImprove data reliability and auditability across financial processesAssist with design and documentation of future‑state processes and controls
