Manager - Workday Reporting Analytics

About the role

Family Dollar is seeking a hands-on owner of enterprise Workday reporting and people analytics. The role supports workforce and hiring decisions across more than 7,000 retail locations, distribution centers, and the Store Support Center.

Reporting to the Director - TA Operations, the Manager - Workday Reporting Analytics designs, builds, and maintains scalable people reporting solutions using Workday. The role partners with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other business leaders to deliver trusted insights for workforce planning, recruiting strategy, and operational decision-making. It serves as the organization’s Workday reporting subject matter expert, combining technical depth, business acumen, and storytelling skills with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end people reporting and dashboard development across HR and Talent Acquisition, including hiring, turnover, engagement, and workforce trends.
• Build and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer, Advanced Reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Operations leaders to define KPIs, identify trends, and uncover actionable insights.
• Translate complex people data into clear insights for leaders through visualizations and executive-ready presentations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance across Workday reporting and analytics.
