Job description
Rinku Brothers is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time role focuses on supporting engineering projects by developing and executing manufacturing plans to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and professionals to set up manufacturing processes and update plant layouts.
- Place and follow up on purchase orders for new tooling and equipment.
- Design tooling and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing plans and coordinate multifunctional reviews.
- Maintain records and present executive reports on project status and outcomes.
Target Profile
We are looking for a contractor Manufacturing Engineer specialist with expertise in process design, equipment procurement and installation, and tooling design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with proven success in project completion and new process setups.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ProE), and engineering tools such as Minitab or MATLAB.
- Experience with Team Center and NX software.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and simulation software.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, cycle time analysis, ergonomics, and facilities/layout design.
- Working knowledge of quality control tools and problem-solving techniques including PFMEA, Pareto analysis, and SPC.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams and projects.
- Proven ability to prepare and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, reports, and cross-functional collaboration.
