Manufacturing Engineer – Greenfield Manufacturing Launch/Process Readiness

Tasks

• Lead manufacturing process development, production line launch, commissioning, and ramp-up.
• Define workstation requirements, tooling, fixtures, equipment interfaces, process flows, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities, and EHS teams.
• Support DFM/DFA, PFMEA, control plans, APQP/PPAP, process validation, production trials, and run-at-rate.
• Optimize line balancing, cycle time, capacity, material flow, and operator efficiency.
• Analyze OEE, downtime, scrap, rework, yield, and throughput; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement practices.
• Support PFEP, line-side material delivery, equipment readiness, and stable production handover.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, production launch, and industrialization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering, process development, or production launch experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, shop-floor operations, and process documentation.
• Experience in automotive, battery, energy, aerospace, heavy equipment, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
