🚨 WE’RE HIRING: Manufacturing Solution Architect
📍 Locations: Detroit, MI 48201 OR Kansas City, MO 64101 (Hybrid)
⏳ Duration: 7+ Months (Contract-to-Hire)
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Solution Architect to drive manufacturing technology integration, smart factory initiatives, and enterprise architecture solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in manufacturing systems, industrial automation, and digital transformation.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Design scalable solutions integrating shop-floor systems (MES, SCADA) with enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, QMS).
✅ Lead smart factory initiatives involving IIoT, data analytics, predictive maintenance, and digital twins.
✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, and IT teams to define solution requirements.
✅ Provide technical leadership from solution design through implementation and deployment.
✅ Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
✅ Develop architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns.
✅ Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, risk assessment, and solution optimization.
✅ Evaluate technologies and vendors to support manufacturing digital transformation.
🔹 Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environments.
Strong knowledge of MES, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, DCS, and industrial networking.
Experience with Maximo or other machine reliability and maintenance solutions.
Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure, edge computing, APIs, middleware, OPC-UA, and MQTT.
Understanding of OT/IT integration, industrial cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
