Manufacturing Systems Manager

Tasks

• Lead ERP/MRP implementation, integration, optimization, and system upgrades.
• Improve production planning, scheduling, inventory accuracy, WIP visibility, and material traceability.
• Support IATF 16949, PPAP, automotive quality requirements, and integration with existing quality/SPC systems.
• Develop production dashboards, KPI reporting, and real-time operational visibility.
• Lead MES initiatives, including shop-floor data collection and future machine connectivity.
• Manage data migration, testing, deployment, training, and user adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, software vendors, budgets, and implementation milestones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ERP/MRP/MES experience in manufacturing.
• At least one successful end-to-end ERP implementation.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, routings, production scheduling, inventory, WIP, and manufacturing costing.
• Experience with Odoo, Epicor, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Plex, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, PPAP, traceability, and manufacturing quality systems.
• Automotive, aluminum casting, machining, or discrete manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Multi-site or international manufacturing experience preferred.
• A results-driven leader who takes ownership, understands shop-floor operations, and delivers functioning systems-not just implementation plans.
