Manure Applicator and Manager

Tasks

• Apply manure at a specified rate to agricultural fields as fertilizer.
• Handle pen pack manure with loaders and chain floor spreaders.
• Inspect loads to ensure safety for spreading.
• Manage and oversee manure stockpile.
• Fill out load sheets.
• Prepare, maintain, clean, service and operate all machinery and equipment used for handling manure.
• Operate and maintain tractors, skid steers, loaders, and feeding machinery to support daily livestock and facility operations.
• Assist with all aspects of calving cows and bred heifers, including monitoring for signs of labor, providing support during delivery, and ensuring proper postnatal care.
• Lift and carry newborn calves to safe or designated areas for treatment and care.

Pay

• $16.25 per hour
