Tasks

• Apply, handle, and manage manure as part of the farm's nutrient management program.
• Operate equipment, including snow removal during winter months.
• Apply manure to agricultural fields at specified rates to ensure proper fertilization while minimizing environmental impact.
• Handle pen pack manure using loaders and chain floor spreaders, and inspect each load for safety and compliance prior to transport and application.
• Manage and oversee the manure stockpile, ensuring proper storage and monitoring for potential runoff or contamination risks.
• Complete accurate load sheets for every load to support record keeping and traceability requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, clean, service, and operate all equipment used for manure handling.

Pay

• $15.18 per hour
