Market Operations Analyst New York

Insight Investment is looking for a Market Operations Analyst to join the Market Operations team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of the outsourced back office and provide industry expertise in handling open issues, contribute to projects, scrutinize process controls, and manage daily relationships.
Role ResponsibilitiesOversight of our two outsourced back-office providers to ensure timely and accurate service that adheres to or exceeds our agreed service level provisions. This includes both formal, recurring checkpoint meetings and informal daily interactionsDaily review of front office system reconciliations and work with our two outsourced back offices and trading desk to rectify outstanding issuesRectify outstanding asset setup issues and corporate actionsFollow up on trade breaks, overdrafts, and other cash related issuesReview, identify and enhance process controlsWork with IT regarding trade data quality, efficiency of processes, electronic trading system connectivityPost and approve client cash activityDaily and Monthly price valuationImplementing the procedures and activities required for closing loanReview and approve leveraged loan trade details and work with loans team in rectifying any trade related detailsWork independently on ad hoc and project requestWork with London Market Operations Team in aligning procedures and oversight methodology. Monitor account on boarding and transition activities and resolve any related issuesParticipate in weekly service meetings to discuss business activity, open issues and outline steps to resolve any outstanding items
Experience RequiredExperience in a Fixed Income support role and familiarity with global securities, derivatives, and options marketsDemonstrated experience in the loan closing process, with direct loan closing expertise considered a strong advantageSolid familiarity with loan documentation and LSTA standards and Clearpar/WSO knowledgeHands-on experience across a broad range of loan productsProactive and sees tasks to completionOrganized and strong attention to detailProven ability to share tasks and work well with a partner in covering group accountabilities

Under New York City pay transparency law we are required to indicate the base salary range for this role of USD 110,000 to 125,000. Any offer of employment will be made based upon the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate and the base salary offered could be higher or lower than indicated.
