Material Flow Engineer

Tasks

• End-to-end warehouse design, material flow, buffer planning, and aisle optimization.
• Design and integration of AGV, AMR, AGC, VRC, conveyors, robotics, and ASRS.
• Capacity planning, throughput analysis, OPEX/CAPEX modeling, and process optimization.
• MES, WMS, and PLC integration for automated material flow systems.
• Lead vendor selection, RFQs, procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models using FlexSim or equivalent tools.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, PFEP, JIT, and OEE analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing, automation, or material handling engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FlexSim or equivalent simulation tools
• Hands-on experience with automated material handling systems
• Knowledge of PLC/MES/WMS integration and industrial safety standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Preferred: Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, IoT automation, and Lean Six Sigma.
