Job description

Sabirecruit is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Content Reviewer on a contract basis. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the USA while contributing to the accuracy and clarity of technical engineering documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and edit technical content for accuracy and clarity, ensuring alignment with mechanical engineering industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to collect necessary information for thorough content review.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and user understanding of technical documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices in mechanical engineering documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss content objectives, deadlines, and revisions.
  • Maintain an organized repository of reviewed documents and track all changes for record-keeping.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in technical materials.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with technical writing or content editing is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
