Tasks

• Provide quality patient care under the supervision of medical or nursing personnel
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints
• Administer injections, immunizations, and TB skin tests per protocol
• Perform venipuncture and laboratory testing
• Maintain exam room supplies and ensure proper documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Support administrative functions including scheduling, filing, scanning, and document preparation
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, spreadsheets, email communication, and calendar management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant Health Care Training Program
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association Approved)
• Current First Aid Certification
• Current N95 Respirator Fit Testing
• Updated CV/Resume
• Diploma/Transcripts
• BLS Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Fit Testing for N95 Respirators
• Hepatitis B Documentation
• Varicella (Chickenpox) Attestation
• MMR Documentation
• TB Test Results
