Job description
Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site position in Warroad, Minnesota. Compensation is up to $22 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Escort and prepare patients for examinations.
- Collect vital signs and medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, phlebotomy, venipuncture, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), Doppler studies, and injections.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two to five years of Medical Assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records required; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus.
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant and phlebotomy certifications preferred.
