Job description
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Warroad, MN
Pay: Up to $22 per hour based on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Escort and prepare patients for examinations
- Obtain vital signs and medical history
- Perform standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, PFT, Doppler, Injections, and Patient Charting
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation
- Family Practice/Internal Medicine experience preferred
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent education and experience
- Proficient in EMR systems; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred
