Job description
About the role
Join our patient-focused outpatient practice dedicated to the health and well-being of Hamilton Township employees and First Responders.
Hamilton Township employees and First Responders only
Tasks
- Provide individual and/or group counseling services
- Evaluate and diagnose patients using DSM V and ASAM criteria
- Develop and implement treatment goals with clients
- Conduct assessments and screening tools as indicated
- Manage and respond to psychiatric crisis situations
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care
- Document patient progress and interventions in the EMR
- Refer to additional resources as needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree required
- Active LCSW or LPC license in New Jersey (Office of NJ Consumer Affairs)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-licensure
- Experience with crisis management and trauma-centered care (First Responder experience a strong plus)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR (experience a plus)
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
