Buddy provides a supportive space where people can speak with trained coaches and feel heard through real human conversation. This is a non-clinical service: coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
About the Role
As a remote Mental Wellness Coach, you will lead empathetic one-on-one conversations that help users explore emotions, reflect, and feel understood. This is a supportive coaching role, not therapy or clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Hold supportive, non-clinical one-on-one conversations with users.
- Validate emotions with empathy and without judgment.
- Ask reflective questions to help users gain clarity.
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
- Follow platform safety and escalation protocols.
- Submit brief notes after each session.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Native or professional-level spoken English.
- Strong empathy and emotional intelligence.
