MEP Site Engineer Mechanical

Job Description: • Review of ACVM / Plumbing / Fire Protection shop drawings and method statement. • Preparing monthly and weekly schedule for MEP work. • Preparing weekly & monthly actual site progress reports and documentation. • Able to lead and arrange toolbox meetings with MEP Sub-contractors • Coordinate Mechanical installation with CSA contractors and Electrical sub-contractors. • Conduct internal site inspections with sub-contractors, STE-JV QAQC to ensure all mechanical works installations are in compliance with the project specifications, mechanical works standards and regulations. • Arrange and coordinate official site inspection with STE-JV QAQC and the Engineer (GC) to ensure all mechanical work installation and testing are approved and accepted by the Engineer (GC) • Able to coordinate with the MEP Construction Manager and provide solutions for any mechanical works installation issues on site. • Ensuring all MEP activities are in compliance with site safety protocols and regulations. • Perform duties from time to time as assigned by the direct supervisor. Qualifications: • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering course • With minimum 3-5 years experienced as MEP/Site Engineer in Building / Infrastructure project (Previous experience in railway project is an advantage. • Previous experience in a Japanese company is an advantage. KEY SKILLS • Technical Expertise - Strong knowledge of ACMV/FP/Plumbing systems and equipment. • Communication - Effective communication with sub-contractor, architects and clients. • Project Management - Able to analyze construction schedules, material & manpower resources. • Safety Awareness - Familiar with construction safety protocols and regulations. • Computer Proficiency - Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel (Microsoft Project is an advantage).
