MES Solution Architect

MES Solution Architect Remote (remote in Mexico with occasional travel to their facility in Guadalajara for major events, like SIT/UAT/Go-live)6+Months

Responsibilities:Work closely with business analysts and key users to identify the scope of requirements and definesolution that utilize the Opcenter (Camstar) OOTB functionality.Define solution documentation (Component Design Document) that can be comprehended by bothkey user and developer.Provide guidance to the Opcenter developer to ensure the changes comply with the design.Work with various tech team to define solution that integrate with various system such as ERP,Opcenter APS, equipment controls etc.Provide guidance to business team on setting up the MES during system implementation.Assist the operation support team to troubleshoot production issues.Track and update progress for all assigned defect/enhancement tasks through JIRA system.Skill requirements:Opcenter Application Expertise and Know-how: Opcenter Portal, Portal studio. Opcenter ConnectMOM, Opcenter APS and Opcenter Intelligence will be added advantages.Development skills: .net programming, SQL query.Strong troubleshooting skills.Familiarize manufacturing processes.Strong verbal/written communication skill and teamwork.Ability to define and manage user expectations using domain knowledge and past working experience

Experience Required:5+ years of development languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript and SQL\store procedures\functions5+ years of development in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter technologies (Portal\Designer\CIO\MIO)3+ years’ experience in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter solution design and full system deployment.Experience in developing Opcenter Execution Electronics or electronic industry will be addedadvantages.3+ years’ experience in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter solution design and full system deploymen
