Tasks

• Build, extend, and maintain API integrations at scale, including authentication, pagination, rate limiting, retries/backoff, idempotency, and error handling.
• Implement and operate orchestrated data workflows using Prefect, Dagster, AWS Step Functions, or Airflow.
• Support and maintain production pipelines day-to-day, investigating issues and improving resilience.
• Deliver well-scoped backend projects from requirements through implementation, rollout, and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with senior and Forward Deployed Engineers to translate field insights into durable product capabilities.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Built and maintained production data/integration pipelines in Python.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations at scale & workflow orchestration tools.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
• Excited to roll up your sleeves, maintain critical pipelines, and grow into designing systems.
• Preferred: Worked at an early-stage B2B SaaS startup (seed to Series B).
• Preferred: Hands-on AWS experience.
• Python, AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/Fargate, SQS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, CDK), REST APIs, OAuth, Webhooks, Prefect, Dagster, Airflow, LLM/VLM APIs, Browser Automation/RPA, Vue, React

Schedule

• Hybrid - 3 days/week in-office, Midtown
• Full-time position

Pay

• $140K - $160K
