Mid-Level to Senior Health and Welfare Associate

Trucker Huss, one of the largest firms focused exclusively on employee benefits law with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Portland.

Requirements

• three to eight years of experience with health and welfare employee benefit plans.
• Substantive knowledge and understanding of the laws governing health and welfare plans, including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code (including Section 125 cafeteria plans), Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, the Consolidated Appropriation Act (“CAA”) and COBRA.
• Experience with drafting plan documents, summary plan descriptions and other plan communications and with negotiating service provider agreements.

• Flexible hybrid work schedule

Pay

• Salary range: $200,000 to $300,000. The salary range does not guarantee, obligate, nor set expectations of an applicant’s salary in the event of hire. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and skill set.
