Mineral Export Control Inspector – Lima, Peru

CBM 360 TIV is hiring six Mineral Export Control Inspectors to support mineral inspection and export operations in Peru and international projects. This full-time role is based in Lima, Lima Province, Peru, with work across Peru and global project locations.

About the role

Inspect mineral shipments and verify that quantities, quality, sampling records, security seals, and export documentation meet project and shipment requirements. Candidates should have 5–10 years of relevant mining or minerals industry experience and be fluent in Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mineral shipments and compare cargo with export documentation.
• Verify quantities, weights, and weighing scale readings.
• Collect mineral samples and maintain the chain of custody.
• Check mineral quality, grades, and laboratory results.
• Review export permits, invoices, certificates, and shipping documents.
• Inspect truck and container security seals and confirm shipment details.
• Supervise loading, dispatch, and export operations.
• Identify quantity discrepancies, under-declaration, cargo substitution, and document irregularities.
• Prepare detailed inspection, incident, and exception reports.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in the mining or minerals industry.
• Experience with mineral inspection, export control, commodity inspection, QA/QC, and sampling.
• Working knowledge of shipment verification, export records, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Ability to work in Lima and travel to project locations in Peru and internationally.
