Mission Readiness Service Trainer

About the role

Help train the next generation of autonomous vehicle operators.

Tasks

• Lead classroom and hands-on training for autonomous vehicle operators
• Demonstrate, coach, and assess daily operating procedures
• Conduct field-based and simulated assessments
• Identify training gaps and support operator performance
• Work with Training Supervisors and Project Managers to keep curriculum aligned with current SOPs
• Perform at least 8 hours per month of Service or Service Associate duties
• Travel up to 25% to support training at other locations

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on autonomous vehicle industry experience
• Experience training, coaching, or mentoring employees
• Familiar with Mission Readiness procedures and operational responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to give clear, constructive feedback
• Excellent organization and time management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) (Preferred)
• Valid in-state driver’s license
• 3 years of consecutive licensure with no gaps (2023 – present)
• Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 10 years)
• 1+ year of autonomous vehicle industry experience
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Schedule

• Ongoing W2 Contract
• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Day: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
• Night: 3 PM – 11:30 PM
• Available Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
• Flexible for varying training schedules and travel (up to 25%)

Pay

• $33/hour
