Mitigation Operations Manager

About the role

One of the most trusted names in disaster restoration services in Chicago’s South suburbs is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Mitigation Operations Manager to lead its mitigation team.

Tasks

• Manage, train, and coach Estimators and Project Managers on job scoping, estimate writing, sales strategies, budgeting, and profitable project execution.
• Oversee project management activities, delegate responsibilities, evaluate performance, and hold team members accountable for company standards.
• Monitor job costs, budgets, cash flow, collections, and gross profit margins. Review monthly financial performance and assist with annual budget preparation.
• Partner with the General Manager to achieve branch sales goals, develop business plans, strengthen client relationships, and expand marketing and business development efforts.
• Support Project Managers, coordinate subcontractors, monitor the mix of work, and maintain high customer service standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports, follow company meeting and reporting procedures, and implement regular safety meetings and training.
• Communicate the company’s mission and vision, recognize employee achievements, and address performance issues through coaching and corrective action when necessary.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree.
• At least 5 years of management experience in the restoration industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash flow, collections, job costing, and b.
