Job description
Join a new mobile mechanic business serving Killeen and Harker Heights, Texas. We are building our team and seeking a reliable, experienced automotive mechanic with a vehicle, basic tools, and the ability to provide professional on-site service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and service gas-powered vehicles, including routine preventive maintenance, oil changes, brake work, and tire work.
- Travel to customer locations; this off-site role is not based at a fixed shop and requires extensive travel.
- Arrive punctually and provide attentive, professional customer service.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, coworkers, work groups, and supervisors.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience and aptitude in automotive mechanical repair.
- Basic tools and most or all tools needed for the work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Cell phone for communication and coordination.
- Customer service and account management skills, with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication, professional hygiene, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking, managing time, and following up consistently.
