Monitor - FJV

Tasks

• supervising family visits at the Family Learning Place in a safe, culturally respectful, and trauma-informed manner
• ensures the wellbeing of children during visits, supports positive family interactions, and documents observations accurately for internal records and ministry reporting
• providing a welcoming, non-judgmental environment while maintaining firm boundaries, safety standards, and compliance with program policies

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12, post-secondary education in Human Services, Youth Care, Social Work, Indigenous Studies, or a related field is an asset
• Experience working with children, families, or in a human services environment an asset
• Working knowledge of cognitive disabilities (FASD, ABI, developmental delays) and the ability to support clients impacted

Schedule

• Part Time evenings/weekend
• Must be available evenings and weekends
