Job description
We are seeking a Monitoring Team Lead based in Panamá to oversee and coordinate diverse monitoring activities including carbon tracking, landowner relations, planting operations, and stakeholder engagement. This leadership role demands strong collaborative and communication skills to manage a multidisciplinary team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise monitoring efforts across Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) projects.
- Ensure compliance with Verra VCS 4.7 standard, SDVista, and ARR VM 0047 methodology.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and landowners to maintain strong relationships and project transparency.
- Oversee tropical forestry monitoring activities and data collection.
- Facilitate team communication and collaboration to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ARR projects and tropical forestry monitoring.
- Expertise with Verra VCS 4.7 standard and ARR VM 0047 methodology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
