Job description
Join VSH Consulting as an MRI Technologist in Rochester, New York. This contract position offers a competitive pay of $3500 per week. You will play a vital role in diagnostic imaging by ensuring patient safety and comfort while performing MRI scans.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, strictly adhering to patient safety policy.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients and explain the procedure to ensure comfort.
- Insert IVs when necessary.
- Position patients, including assisting limited-mobility patients with safe handling.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and send studies to PACS after completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification.
- New York State licensure (must obtain prior to start).
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Level I trauma experience preferred.
- BLS certification (AHA only).
This is an on-site contract role located in Rochester, NY. Remote work is not eligible.
