Job description
VSH Consulting is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position in Rochester, New York. Earn $3,500 per week while providing diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused clinical environment. This is an on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and exam details before scanning, following patient safety policies.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients and explain MRI procedures to support their comfort.
- Insert IVs when required.
- Position patients and safely assist those with limited mobility.
- Document accurately in EPIC and send completed studies to PACS.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification.
- New York State licensure, required before the start date.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Level I trauma experience.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
