Museum Executive Director

About the role

Albay Arts Foundation Inc. (AAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a museum to be a permanent home for the arts.

The Executive Director is the highest-ranking staff member of the AAF museum.

Lead AAF into its next chapter as we prepare for the opening of the AAF Art Center & Museum Campus.

Tasks

• Leading its strategy, finances, programs, and team - strictly following the guidance of an engaged AAF Board of Trustees (BOT).
• Fundraising - including grant writing, corporate sponsorship, and major donor cultivation.
• Strategic planning and organizational development.
• Translate long-term vision into actionable, impactful annual plans.
• Budget development, financial reporting, and forecasting.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in arts management, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; a master’s/post graduate degree is a strong advantage
• Minimum five to seven years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in managing and steering an arts, cultural, or non-profit organization
• Proven track record in fundraising - including grant writing, corporate sponsorship, and major donor cultivation
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and organizational development
• Exceptional written and oral English and Tagalog; fluency in Bikol
