Early Childhood English Homeroom Teacher in Cúcuta, Colombia

Join an early childhood teaching team in Cúcuta, Colombia, as an English homeroom teacher for first- and second-grade students. This full-time, on-site role is suited to native English speakers and international professionals with advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Native English speaker or foreign professional with C1-level English proficiency or higher.

• At least one year of classroom teaching experience in a similar role.
• TEFL certification is a plus, particularly for applicants without an education or English language teaching degree.
• Currently in Colombia or able to relocate by January 15.
• Bachelor’s degree must be apostilled for the work permit application.

Schedule and Compensation

Hours: 40 per week, mostly in the morning, including 25 in-class hours and 15 hours for planning and other duties.

Base pay: 1,500,000 COP per month. The posting also lists transportation support of 300,000 COP, a housing allowance of 700,000 COP, and horse-riding lessons.

Location: On-site in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia. This position is not remote.
