About the role

Data Migration project.

Tasks

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for application design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Lead application development using C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, and Angular.
• Guide development teams in designing scalable and maintainable components and service/API integrations.
• Coordinate application modernization (legacy Web Forms/MVC to .NET Core & Angular).
• Provide technical direction for Apache Spark, InRule, Sybase, SQL, and MongoDB solutions.
• Enforce development practices: coding standards, code quality, reusable components, logging, testing, performance, and security.
• Lead peer code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees and Jenkins.
• Implement GitHub branching strategies, PRs, code reviews, merging, and collaboration.
• Work with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA, DevOps, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and remediation plans; communicate to leadership.
• Support release planning and coordinate deployments across all environments.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage tasks/issues in Jira.
• Mentor developers and improve engineering maturity and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant application development experience.
• Strong technical leadership and application development experience.
• Expertise in application modernization and API integrations.
• Experience leading code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ability to mentor developers and guide technical delivery.
• Strong collaboration with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Angular, Apache Spark, InRule, Sybase, SQL, MongoDB, CloudBees, Jenkins, GitHub (branching, PRs, code reviews, merging, collaboration), Jira, CI/CD and DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum delivery, technical leadership, code reviews, troubleshooting, production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of relevant application development experience, with demonstrated experience leading technical deliverables or development teams.
