About the role

Client: State of Ohio – DRC

Tasks

• Solutions design, project technical planning, analysis, and design.
• Application development using C#, .NET Framework (1.1 to current), ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Web Applications.
• Recommend and follow software reusability guidelines.
• Provide technical mentorship to peers and junior-level staff through verbal instruction and technical documentation.
• Perform system testing and prepare test documentation.
• Support application testing, implementation, and validation.
• Create technical documentation covering application functionality and testing methods.
• Develop business and functional flow diagrams.

Requirements

• Looking only local to OH candidates
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET application development, ASP.NET, Azure, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure, JavaScript, Knockout.js, JSON, APIs, and ActiveX controls.
• Familiarity with other programming languages and development tools.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2000 through SQL Server 2018.
• Experience working with SQL stored procedures, functions, tables, views, and related database objects.
• Familiarity with manual QA testing processes.
• Experience with MS Visio or other flow diagramming tools is preferred but optional.
• Experience with Git or other version control tools for managing source code and documentation.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
