Network Engineer III

Tasks

• Lead the resolution of complex Tier 3 network incidents involving LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot advanced routing, switching, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions across corporate and retail environments.
• Manage Fortinet platforms, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, and FortiNAC.
• Administer FortiNAC policies, endpoint profiling, network access control, and security enforcement.
• Optimize network monitoring, WAN performance, and SD-WAN failover strategies.
• Lead network infrastructure projects, including store openings, network refreshes, and circuit migrations.
• Develop network documentation, configuration standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network operations and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, subnetting, LAN/WAN, and wireless architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies, particularly FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, and FortiNAC.
• Knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, network segmentation, and security best practices.
• Experience with SD-WAN, carrier troubleshooting, and large-scale multi-site network environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Network+ are preferred.
