Required Skills & Qualifications2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, network support, desktop support, or Smart Hands services.Working technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, televisions, projectors, IP phones, peripherals, structured cabling, and site security equipment.Experience performing onsite hardware installation, replacement, troubleshooting, and break/fix support.Knowledge of structured cabling, patch panels, network racks, cable tracing, cable testing, and cable management.Basic understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing, and switching.Ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and assist with the administration of switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, and firewalls under the guidance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.Ability to configure routers and switches under the direction of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.Experience assisting with the integration, installation, and customization of hardware components within operating systems and enterprise network environments under the guidance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.Familiarity with data center operations, including server hardware support, rack-and-stack activities, patching, equipment installation, labeling, inventory management, and remote hands support.Knowledge of backup, tape, and Microsoft Exchange infrastructures.Ability to assist with supporting data center infrastructure and application architecture.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose hardware, software, and network-related issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation, incident reporting, and the ability to facilitate workshops for gathering technical and operational requirements.Experience working on projects of moderate complexity while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and intercompany teams.Ability to exercise independent judgment within established procedures, standards, and best practices.Strong customer service skills with the ability to support end users in a professional and timely manner.Ability to prioritize multiple service requests and meet service level agreements (SLAs) in a fast-paced enterprise environment.Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar ticketing systems.Willingness to travel between customer sites when required and participate in scheduled maintenance or after-hours support activities.Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, or equivalent are preferred.
