Role Description The Night Auditor role at Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo is a full-time, on-site position based in Santo Domingo. This role is responsible for balancing and reconciling the hotel’s daily financial transactions, preparing end-of-day reports, and verifying room rates and charges. The Night Auditor will handle late-night check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations and guest inquiries, and ensure accurate posting of payments and cash handling procedures. This position also involves responding to guest requests, providing courteous customer service, monitoring lobby and front desk operations, and supporting safety and security protocols during overnight hours. The Night Auditor collaborates with other departments as needed to ensure a smooth transition into the next business day.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Receptionist Duties skills, including front desk operations, check-in/check-out processes, and guest registration.Candidates should possess reservations-related skills, including managing bookings, modifying reservations, and verifying room availability and rates.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues and resolve issues professionally.Candidates should possess accurate Cash Handling skills, including posting payments, balancing cash drawers, and reconciling end-of-day financial reports.Relevant qualifications include prior hotel or hospitality experience, familiarity with property management systems, and strong attention to detail.Additional beneficial qualifications include basic accounting knowledge, problem-solving skills, ability to work overnight shifts, and proficiency in English and Spanish.
