Nurse Director, Hospital – Maternal Child Health

About the role

Bring your nursing leadership expertise to a role focused on maternal and neonatal safety, evidence-based practice, and coordinated care across the continuum.

Tasks

• Shape patient care delivery models and clinical practice standards.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to advance safe, high-quality care.
• Lead staffing, resource utilization, budget oversight, and staff competency development.
• Strengthen patient and employee safety while supporting Joint Commission and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience.
• Level II or higher NICU experience.
• Director-level experience, project management, and nursing leadership.
• Magnet experience.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• BSN with 7+ years in business operations, clinical healthcare, or a related field.
• 7+ years of patient care delivery experience.
• 2+ years managing operational or project budgets.
• 2+ years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Active California RN license and BLS certification at hire.
• Nurse executive board certification is preferred.

Pay

• Annual Salary: $222,000–$257,000
