Operations Support Associate - Wednesday to Sunday PM to AM

SHIFT: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Job PurposeThis position is key to ensuring visibility, tracking, and the timely resolution of incidents during the operation. The Operations Support Associate monitors shipments in transit, proactively follows up on delays or deviations, and coordinates with carriers and internal teams to resolve operational issues in real time. This entry-level role escalates critical situations promptly and keeps tracking systems accurate and current so all parties involved stay clearly and consistently informed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Shipment Monitoring and VisibilityMonitor shipments in transit, ensuring visibility and compliance with delivery timeframes.Track shipment milestones and keep tracking systems accurate and up to date.Delay and Incident Follow-UpFollow up proactively on potential delays, deviations, or incidents affecting a shipment.Document relevant events as they occur to support accurate tracking and reporting.Carrier and Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues in real time.Maintain clear, consistent communication with all parties involved throughout the shipment lifecycle.EscalationEscalate critical situations to the Driver Services Team Lead or appropriate team in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience in shipment monitoring, logistics, transportation operations, or a similar role within a 3PL environment (Knowledge).Experience coordinating with carriers and managing operational incidents, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English (Skills).Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment (Abilities).Availability to work the assigned schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with TMS platforms or shipment tracking tools.Knowledge of MX & US ground transportation operations (FTL/LTL).Knowledge of MX-US cross-border operations.
