Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose a broad spectrum of ophthalmic conditions.
- Conduct surgical procedures including cataract, glaucoma, and other ocular surgeries.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care effectively.
- Educate patients on ocular health and disease management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver holistic patient care.
- Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR).
- Participate in on-call rotations providing consultative support for urgent ophthalmic cases.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology preferred.
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ophthalmology practice.
- Proficient surgical skills focused on ophthalmic procedures.
- Experience with ophthalmology diagnostic and surgical equipment.
