Job description
About the role
Liptack is seeking an OSHC Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and site safety procedures.
- Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Prepare safety documentation and reports, and maintain records.
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox briefings.
- Monitor PPE usage and promote a safe working environment.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and subcontractors on safety matters.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Construction, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant construction site experience is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years’ work experience in OSH, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety legislation.
- Able to work independently, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
