Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks transporting freight over long distances across multiple states.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local driving regulations, including DOT and FMCSA standards.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and shipping paperwork.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Proven experience as an Over-the-Road (OTR) driver.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and strong safety history.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
