Outdoor Education Camp Leader Naturalist

Salary: $30.85 - $37.70 Hourly.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
✓ Lead engaging outdoor educational programs in natural sciences and STEM subjects through hikes, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
✓ Create and maintain instructional materials and exhibits in topics such as ecology, astronomy, zoology, and geology to support student learning.
✓ Support safe and enriching outdoor experiences by maintaining trails, caring for animals, and assisting in facility upkeep.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
✓ High school diploma or equivalent required, plus semester (or equivalent quarter) units in natural/physical sciences or education from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
✓ Six months of paid or verifiable volunteer experience leading outdoor/serving/education/youth programs.

✓ May substitute with 3 semester (or equivalent quarter) units in natural/physical sciences or education.
