Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles safely over long distances, complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan and execute efficient routes to optimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery deadlines.
• Perform vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to ensure safety.
• Load and unload freight carefully, maintaining shipment integrity throughout transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of miles driven, hours worked, and other required documentation to comply with regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by representing Ohio Transportation corp professionally on the road and building strong client relationships.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience preferred.
