Paralegal in California, Maryland

Nitendra Kamal is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Paralegal for a full-time, on-site position in California, Maryland. Join a collaborative legal team and support attorneys with research, case documentation, client communication, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Research legal issues and gather relevant case law and statutes.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible case files.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials to gather and share case information.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses.
• File documents electronically and ensure filings comply with court rules.
• Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office.
• At least two years of paralegal or legal support experience preferred.
• NALA certification or another industry-standard credential is a plus.

Work Environment

Work alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals in a supportive, collaborative legal practice. You will report to the lead attorney and coordinate with colleagues across the firm. This position is full-time and not remote eligible. Compensation was not specified.
