About the role

Lorenes Bakery Catering is seeking a part-time bakery assistant. Previous bakery, cake-decorating, food-service, or customer-service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Icing and decorating cakes with simple designs.
• Assisting customers and providing friendly service.
• Preparing, packaging, labeling, and stocking bakery items.
• Answering phones and taking customer orders.
• Washing dishes and assisting with other daily bakery tasks.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
• Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with customers.
• Organized and attentive to detail.
• Willing to learn, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism and correction professionally.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Available for a flexible part-time schedule, including some weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods and equipped with reliable transportation.
• Emotionally mature and coachable, with a positive attitude, willingness to improve, and ability to follow direction.
• Servsafe Certification is a plus.
