Part-Time Help

One of my helpers is heading off to college, and I now have an opening for someone new to join our little crew.

I’m looking for someone dependable who loves animals and can help me out around the house 2 days a week. I’m disabled and run an animal rescue, so I need an extra set of hands for a combination of household cleaning, animal care, and whatever else needs to get done that day.

The job includes things like:
• Dishes and kitchen cleanup
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning
• Scooping litter boxes and cleaning animal areas/cages
• Cleaning up the inevitable pet messes and poop scooping
• Helping with miscellaneous household tasks
• Occasionally doing some simple cooking when I’m not feeling well

The details:
• Located in Quartz Hill
• 2 days a week, approximately 5 hours each day
• Afternoon/evening hours, no mornings
• Days/hours have some flexibility
• Paid cash
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 40–50 lbs, including bags of cat litter and pet food
• Animal experience is a plus, but not required

You’ll be around rescue cats, dogs, and parrots and a household where animals are very much part of everyday life, so genuinely liking animals is a must!

This is a private position working for and paid by me, not a position with the rescue.
