Part-Time Jewelry Production & Market Assistant

Tasks

• Assemble jewelry components, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories.
• Assist with jewelry finishing, packaging, labelling, and price tagging.
• Organize inventory and prepare products for markets.
• Assist with market setup and display arrangements.
• Represent Kayi Closet as a sales associate at local craft markets and pop-up events.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers with purchases.

Requirements

• Enjoys handmade jewelry, fashion, and creative work.
• Has good handcrafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Is patient and comfortable working with small jewelry components.
• Is responsible, organized, independent, and willing to learn.
• Has good communication and customer service skills.
• Is available to work some weekends.
• Preferably lives in West Edmonton for convenient training and product pickup/drop-off.
• Previous jewelry-making, beading, crafting, or retail experience is an asset, but not required.

Schedule

• Flexible part-time hours

Pay

• $17–$20/hour and commission depending on experience

Benefits

• Training will be provided!
• After completing a few months of hands-on training and demonstrating the ability to work independently, there will be an opportunity to complete jewelry assembly tasks from home.
