The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) supports Loan Officers throughout the mortgage application and approval process, ensuring efficient operations, accurate documentation, and excellent client service. The role involves coordinating loan files, communicating with clients and partners, maintaining compliance, and assisting with administrative and marketing tasks.
Salary: USD 800 monthly for Part-Time
Key Responsibilities
Assist Loan Officers with mortgage applications from initiation to fundingCollect, organize, and review borrower documentation, including pay stubs, W-2s, bank statements, and tax returnsIdentify missing conditions and ensure files are complete and compliant with company and investor guidelinesCommunicate with borrowers, real estate agents, escrow officers, and processors to facilitate the loan processOrder third-party services such as appraisals, title reports, and verifications when permittedPrepare and send disclosures and other required loan documentsTrack loan milestones, maintain pipeline updates, and follow up on outstanding documentationMaintain accurate client records in the loan origination system (LOS)Schedule appointments and manage the Loan Officer's calendarProvide regular status updates to clients and referral partnersSupport marketing initiatives, database management, and lead follow-upsEnsure confidentiality, compliance, and professional client service throughout the loan process
Qualifications
Prior experience in mortgage, banking, or real estate preferedStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesFamiliarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and financial documentationAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
