Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, business transactions, and contractual agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents ensuring compliance and protecting Mercor1’s interests.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support various projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify legal risks and develop effective solutions.
• Stay current on laws and regulations impacting corporate and transactional legal practices.
• Assist in integrating AI and large language models within legal frameworks.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for specialized legal matters as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven expertise in corporate and transactional law.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Experience working with AI and large language models in a legal context.
• Prior experience as General Counsel or in a similar senior legal role is preferred.
