About the Role

Use your corporate and transactional law expertise to guide legal strategy, support business objectives, and help address legal and compliance issues. You will work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a flexible, part-time environment, including on legal frameworks for artificial intelligence and large language models.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance, business transactions, and contractual agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to support compliance and protect organizational interests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis for projects and business initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and develop practical solutions.
• Monitor laws and regulations relevant to corporate and transactional practices.
• Support the integration of AI and large language models within applicable legal frameworks.
• Coordinate with external counsel on specialized legal matters as needed.
• Report to senior leadership and align legal strategies with business goals.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Expertise in corporate and transactional law.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with AI and large language models in a legal context.
• Prior General Counsel or comparable experience preferred.
