Job description
Boat Town, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Specialist to support its growing service department. This on-site role combines parts ordering and inventory tracking with customer service and general service department support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with service and sales teams to order the correct parts promptly.
- Track parts orders and notify the team when items arrive.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and account for parts in inventory systems.
- Provide operational support to the service department.
- Assist customers with checkouts and answer incoming phone calls.
- Communicate with service and warranty managers about parts and service needs.
Qualifications
- Retail or similar work experience preferred, especially inventory management.
- Basic automotive or marine mechanical and parts knowledge preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- High energy, dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first approach.
- Must be able to work on-site at the dealership during its operating hours, Tuesday through Saturday.
