Pediatric Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Boston, MA

Nexa Staffing Solutions is hiring a Pediatric Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a part-time opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. The role provides compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients with acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions.

Pay: $50 per hour
Opportunities: Per diem and bundle options available
Location: Boston, MA

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate pediatric patients throughout their care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• At least one year of RN work experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to meet facility background screening, health screening, and onboarding requirements. Additional vaccination or testing requirements may apply.
