Jobs at WNYIL is hiring a Peer Support Specialist to provide rapid peer support to individuals with substance use disorders and addiction issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid peer support to individuals treated in hospital emergency rooms throughout Erie County for substance-use-related medical emergencies.
- Work twenty (20) hours per week at the Erie County Holding Center and Erie County Correctional Facility, providing in-custody peer support to individuals participating in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
